Our Mission

122_Vicki_2005A Message from our Director, Vicki Zion:

We understand that times are tough and may feel like they are getting tougher. Many in the communities that Personal Best Educational Services, LLC serves are struggling with lay-offs, permanent job loss, pay decreases, tax increases, and many other economic challenges.

As parents we also understand how important it is that our children get off to a really good start in life. Getting a good start in education is more than just good grades, it is about getting the process of how-to-learn into the every-day-life-DNA of our children. When they can follow a process that works for them as a strategy for learning, our children will not only survive, but thrive!

That’s why we use a simultaneous, multi-sensory methodology in how we work with and teach students. We discover how our students learn best—what their learning style is—and then we use that learning style as we present the material the student needs to learn. We pace the material and build step-by-step, topic-by-topic to be sure that we establish a process for learning that makes the material make sense. By doing this, we help our students succeed where other tutoring systems have failed them. We can help you too.

We learn how to improve our process by keeping up-to-date, and by listening to what our clients tell us. We want to know from you how we can help you help your children achieve their personal best everyday in learning. To provide a place where we can have a public discussion about needs, we’ve added a new Client Forum to this website. We encourage you to visit this page often and post new topics. We encourage you to post responses to topics that others have posted.

Here’s some really good news! In order to provide more tutoring, and testing appointments, we have added staff—yes, we have hired at a time when other businesses are laying off, or even going out of business. We believe that no matter what is happening, our best and most necessary investment is in our children’s’ future.

If you have even thought about getting additional help for your child to help them do better in school; If you worry about poor grades on report card after report card; If you worry every time you hear the phrase “WASL” (whose reported demise is far from the facts), then you need to talk with us. We understand the frustrations parents face in trying to interact with schools—sometimes it’s just hard to understand and communicate in the same language. We really can help.

Now is the time! Call or e-mail us today for a private consultation to discuss your educational needs (your own or your child’s).

Sincerely,
Vicki J. Zion
